The CenterVenture 2010 is hosted at the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM) during April 7th and April 10th 2010.
We are going to develop a device which helps people to operate their electrical appliances by remote control, thus leading to more convenience and safety. Moreover the energy consumption of the household appliances can be tracked and monitored online.
The students are split up in “techie” and “business” teams. The first group is responsible for developing the device and the corresponding website. The business guys will take care of the marketing, financing and branding issues related to the product. After four days we should be able to present a ready to market product!
